If you already play regularly with other musicians — whether in a casual jam group, original band, or gigging outfit — I can coach your whole band to sound tighter, more professional, and more enjoyable to play in.
I bring years of experience as a performer and teacher to help you overcome common band hurdles and unlock your full potential. Sessions focus on practical, hands-on improvement, including:
Full electric band sessions (drums, bass, guitars, etc.) can take place either at your own rehearsal space or at a professional rehearsal studio (subject to availability and any hire costs).
Acoustic or smaller/line-up sessions (e.g., singer-songwriter, duo, trio) can be held in my comfortable home studio in Bath (with high-quality gear including my Roland TD-1MK electric drum kit available for use), or at your space.
Sessions are fully customised to your band's current level, style, and ambitions — whether you're just starting out, refining originals, or gearing up for gigs/festivals.
Pricing:
Sessions are typically booked in blocks (e.g., 3–6 sessions) to allow real progress, but one-offs are welcome to try it out.

- Rehearsing more effectively and efficiently — structured plans, goal-setting, running songs productively, minimising downtime, and staying focused
- Developing a cohesive band sound — tightening timing/rhythm section, improving dynamics and balance, listening to each other, locking in grooves
- Writing and arranging better songs — song structure, hooks, layering parts, collaborative feedback, turning ideas into polished tracks
- Preparing for gigs and performances — setlist planning, transitions, stage presence, handling nerves, soundchecks, and delivering confident live shows
- And much more — recording basic demos, building set energy, handling creative differences, or tailoring to your specific goals
